Okay, so you've played the games and looked at all the pretty pictures but still you feel a bit empty, then its time to start carrying out your own investigations into the marine life at your local beach and soon your life will feel fulfilled. 

    Below you will find instructions on how to carry out some basic marine biology work that will be fun to do and will give you a better feel for your local marine environment.  Not all of these experiments can be carried out everywhere so choose one that applies to where you live.

Always check the tides and leave at least an hour before high tide
